AccuVoice AV200 TV Speaker With Hearing Aid Technology

Just saw the ad for this on TV. It claims it uses hearing aid technology. Soooooooo, isn't the hearing aid technology that would be used kinda basic? Like, as basic as using some eq boosting in the frequencies involved in dialogue. My guess is that most of the benefit would come from decoding the audio to separate out the center channel, and boosting it relative to the encoded front, left, and surround channels. But that's not hearing aid technology....

ZVOX soundbars and bases have a good reputation for the space they’re in. I wouldn’t dismiss this unit so quickly.

Not dismissing. How does it make dialogue easier to understand?

The Accuvoice Technology suppresses the background noise enough for high frequencies to come out clearer which are usually voices and it definitely works, the company has a 60 day trial that is worth trying out.
