My new Classic 3/1’s have arrived. They are lovely...and big compared to what I’m used to. My stands are about 2 inches too tall in my room but that’ll just have to be for the present. Unfortunately we are about to have warm weather and I don’t have A/C. My little 9x10 room is on the second floor of a townhouse with a window the faces the afternoon sun. It’s one of the two hottest rooms in the house. I’ll do some listening today and again for a few on Thursday. Between the work schedule and the heat it may be a few weeks before I get significant listening time.

Very exciting and looking forward to hearing more about them. Noel at Skylanstands will make stands to your exact height specification. Oh and still no-go on the picture!

Congratulations, Art! I bought a pair of demo SP3/1R2's from a dealer in the UK a few years ago and absolutely love them.

Same here. I’m in a smaller room, but I’m no longer convinced that my stands are too tall...maybe. More listening.

Target MR 24 inch stands with Target Bling Thing spikes. They are great stands. Manufactured in Canada.

Mine are $199 Pangea DS400, filled with kitty litter. I lined the base plate with Dynamat too.

I used to have a Premier rack, for those of you who remember those. Very rigid, flexible and solid. But the doggone thing rang. I used a lot of Dynamat on it and it worked nicely. These Target stands are super solid and don’t ring a bit...at the asking price they better not!

Thanks I thought so. I was thinking about getting a set of the same stands in 28 inch. I have 26 inch Sanus Steel Foundations stands now but my tweeters are still below ear height and these Pangea stands look more sturdy than what I have now. Plus the top plate is bigger which is a bonus.

I had to right-click the "question mark", and log into the audiokarma website to see it.
