You are allowed to grab 3 discs total by Deep Purple.
    That's 3 single LP's or cd's, Or a double and a single.
    Which 3 do you grab?

This was rough because I really need a good representation of MK I, II, and III to feel good about this.
    I end up with;
Deep Purple - Deep Purple my favorite MK I album.
Machine Head - my fav MK II album.
Made In Europe a great representation of the MK III lineups best songs.

But to not have Made in Japan feels like a complete failure.
This Island living is going to be rough.

You got the best of the MK II lineup.
    and that may be smart.
But no MK I or MK III....that's rough.

    er...I need one more?

That really might be enough...but if pushed...Purpendicular...I really rate it that highly.

    There is no "or"
You're being banished for the rest of your life on an island.
The three discs you select will be the only Deep Purple that you will ever hear again.
    You must choose.

You gotta love real Deep Purple fans.
You can have their Made In Japan when you pry it out of their cold dead hands.
Unfortunately that's exactly what the "Thought Police" will do if you don't reduce your selection down to 3 discs!

    Nice.
You managed to get the definitive live album by the MK II lineup, and the best album by the MK III lineup.
Lets not think too long about what you left behind though......;)

Archtop Soft Agitation: Dead Crimson Cow.

I jettisoned Purple as soon as they jettisoned Glover and Gillan, so this is simple for me:

Deep Purple (2000 Harvest/EMI/Spitfire remaster with bonus tracks)
Made in Japan (1998 remaster with bonus encores; perhaps a bit brick-walled, but I'll take the encores if restricted to three discs)

I always tend to go live over studio, but that third album by Mark I is excellent.

    That's technically 4 disc selections.
Made In Japan is a double and live in paris is a double.
    Please try again.

    Not so sure, my friend
Deep Purple - Made In Japan
Look, even my DCC is 1 CD Deep Purple - Made In Japan
Only the ones with the encores are 2xCD and the sound of those is abysmal
So can I select another one, pretty please? That would be DP In Rock. I NEED Blackmore's solo on Child In Time.
